Sir Antai's professional track started with a role as the Chief Operating Officer at Maintenance Culture Limited. He would later found Men at Work LTD, where he served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
On the political leg of his career is a first tenure as the Chairman of the Mbo Council Area from 2008 to 2011 in Akwa Ibom State, where he redefined governance and achieved an unprecedented re-election for a second term from 2012 to 2015.
Sir Antai served as Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in 2015 and later became the Commissioner of Tourism and Culture, where he spearheaded initiatives that revitalized the state's cultural heritage and tourism sector.
